Peace, serenity, and beauty abound at the sierra verde ranch!

Sierra Verde Ranch (SVR) is a fantastic place to live if you enjoy primitive, isolated, off grid (for the most part) living. There aren’t too many resources available in the area short of personal perseverance, distant neighbors and some basic services offered around town.  An informative letter was written by your board to fill in a few gaps of knowledge about living here, give you a brief overview of SVR, the Property Owners Association (POA), the POA board, the Double O Ranch and answer a few questions you may not have even thought of yet.

Road Status

The Road Committee would like to make sure property owners know that the repaired equipment has now been received, and the road maintenance program will be starting back up this weekend. Thank you for your patience!

Well Status

Details about the POA wells and their status can be found here. When well statuses change, owners will receive an automatic notification via EMail or SMS/Text.

Rich Moore

President

Term Expires 2026

Rich Moore. I have been a member of the board since 2021 and have served as VP since 2022. My wife and I have been full-time residents of Seligman since 2016. During this time, I have been serving as a volunteer firefighter for the Seligman Fire Department, being promoted to Captain a year ago. My natural critical thinking skills and common sense have helped me throughout life, especially in my endeavors as a business owner and inventor.

retired after 27 years as a Phoenix Police Officer. I worked in Patrol, Walking Beat, Solo Motors, and School Resource Officer. I retired due to injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. We purchased our Ranch over 20 years ago and after retiring live here year round. I was voted to the Association Board in 2023 because I wanted to see better communication with the homeowners.

Avid outdoorsman and family man. 8 years experience with construction and remodeling as a Facilities Maintenance Manager with Loves Travel Stops, currently the Shop General Manager in Williams, AZ. Moved to SVR in 2022 and active board member since mid 2023. Want to provide exceptional service to SVR residents and keep our community great!

Road Information

SVR access roads (over 288 miles) are considered primitive roads and are maintained and graded on an as needed basis. We do not grade when it’s too dry or too wet and we do not snow plow.
